Our women single hope, Wong Mew Choo's (MAS) gallant run was ended by Lu Lan (CHN) with the score 7-21, 27-29


Another match on the same day, our Doubles hope Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong (MAS) failed to live up our hopes by losing to Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan (INA) with the score 16-21, 18-21


The only Malaysian flag bearer in Badminton is our Men Singles, Lee Chong Wei (MAS)
